Job summary

A leading workforce solutions provider is seeking a Data Analyst to drive improvement and deliver insightful analysis. This role involves creating reports, analyzing data, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in data analytics, possesses strong business intelligence skills, and works well in a collaborative environment. This position is remote with occasional office visits required in Newton Abbot.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in data analytics required.
  • Experience or training in business intelligence, data analytics, data science, or reporting & analysis.
  • Demonstrated excellence at troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to present information confidently and effectively in various formats.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage projects independently without constant oversight.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and developing reports, data models, analysis, and statistical calculations as needed.
  • Supporting client and internal reporting needs, including monthly/quarterly reports and ad hoc requests.
  • Analyzing operations trends, identifying root causes, and creating predictive analyses for process improvement.
  • Communicating findings with executive stakeholders, management, and business partners.
  • Maintaining knowledge of business intelligence trends and recommending process improvements.

The Data Analyst is accountable for:

  • Creating and developing reports, data models, analysis, and statistical calculations as needed.
  • Supporting client and internal reporting needs, such as running monthly/quarterly reports as well as ad hoc reports.
  • Analyzing past and present operations trends, identify root causes, and create predictive analysis that drives process improvement
  • Interpreting data and communicate findings with executive stakeholders, management, business partners as well as other employees up to and including those in leadership positions.
  • Ongoing Innovation and Improvement - maintain current knowledge of business intelligence trends and recommend improvements to processes for measurement, control and analysis.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Expierence:

  • Analysis – Experience or training in business intelligence, data analytics, data science, or reporting & analysis.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Problem Solving – Demonstrate excellence at troubleshooting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Communication – Present information confidently and effectively in person, over the phone, and through writing.
  • Accuracy – Possess a high attention to detail.
  • Independence – Ability to self-govern and project manage without constant oversight.
  • Teamwork – Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.

Seeking at least 2 years of experience in data analytics.

The position is a remote role, but the candidate will be required to work from the office in Newton Abbot (Devon)once a month.
