Job description

A Data Analyst will bring structure to our raw data, connect data points between our external-facing and internal ERP systems and legacy platforms, resulting in clear and concise analytics and reports to support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.

Reports To: Product Manager
Location: Purfleet, Essex
Region of Work: Technical Team

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage efficient ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes.
• Manage existing data sources and investigate/develop new sources.
• Clean and collate data from our Marketplace platform.
• Produce analytics for our products, services, and Marketplace platform, connecting relevant platforms and data feeds.
• Automate alerts and reporting to support daily operations, highlighting risks and trend weaknesses.
• Investigate tools and best practices for storing, structuring, and analyzing data for Marketplace.
• Share knowledge actively and document processes clearly.
• Enhance automation within data systems and software platforms.
• Support data quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Advanced knowledge of data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistics, research methods, and data analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, R.
• Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools (desirable), and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure.
• Experience interfacing with APIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power BI.
• Understanding of or experience with machine learning.
• Background in the Telecoms Industry.
