Job summary

Free-Work UK is supporting a Central London bank to hire a Data Analyst who will help build and maintain a robust digital data infrastructure, enabling high-quality data extraction, reporting, and analytics across the business.

Working closely with the IT Manager and business units, you will strengthen regulatory risk management through MI reporting and insights, ensure data integrity, and explore new tools, with a hybrid office pattern (3 days/week in London).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of data analytics experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong SQL expertise with SQL Server and SSIS development.
• Experience with Power BI (and/or Tableau) for MI reporting.
• Knowledge of data governance, regulatory reporting, and GDPR basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the bank's digital data infrastructure for reliable data access.
• Deliver accurate data extraction, MI analysis, and reporting to support regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to translate data requirements into solutions.
• Propose new technologies to improve data governance and reporting efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity and support internal MI reporting.
