Overview

Data Analyst (Retrofit) - Permanent

The GMCA invites applications for a Data Analyst (Retrofit) to join the Retrofit Team in the Environment Directorate. The role provides Business Intelligence support for delivering housing retrofit measures to help meet the Greater Manchester 5-year Environment Plan and Retrofit Action Plan, aiming to make Greater Manchester carbon neutral by 2038.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and consistent reporting of data relating to housing retrofit schemes delivered to residents of Greater Manchester.
  • Lead and support the development and maintenance of management information systems for the Retrofit Team, including in-house systems.
  • Support management reporting on energy efficiency improvements and low carbon heating installations.
  • Support administration and management of the national Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework Agreement, including call-offs and mini-competitions.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working with data in a public sector or housing provider environment, with understanding of data collection, quality checking, cleansing, validation, analysis and reporting to deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and partnership working with government departments, local authorities, housing providers, NHS, contractors and local partners.
  • Advanced IT skills for data analysis and presentation: Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of public procurement principles and processes is beneficial.
