Job Description

This role involves supporting the creation and maintenance of security, fund, broker, benchmark, and other reference data in systems such as IVP Security Master, Simcorp Dimension, Charles River, and Wall Street Office. You will work to improve data quality through process improvements and support daily pricing of bonds, derivatives, equities, loans, managing exceptions within IVP Price Master, and verifying values using Bloomberg, Pricing Direct, ICE Data Services, Refinitiv, and S&P.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, with the option to work one day from home.

Responsibilities:

1. Resolving pricing and reference data issues and investigating causes.
2. Identifying new control points and managing operational risks.
3. Analyzing large datasets using MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Python.
4. Engaging with internal teams to ensure correct data flow and implementation of new initiatives.
5. Maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as Investment Desks, IT, Risk, Fund Accounting, and Performance teams.
6. Owning system upgrades, enhancements, and regulatory compliance.
7. Ensuring systems provide accurate and timely information to staff and clients.
8. Contributing to weekly updates for senior management.
9. Proactively delivering projects using own initiative.

Qualifications:

Must-have: Data literacy, Excel skills, experience in a financial institution, strong communication skills, Python, usage of generative AI.

Nice-to-have: Degree in STEM or Finance, basic SQL, experience with security mastering systems.
