Overview

Enso Recruitment is delighted to be partnered with a well-established organisation operating at scale across the UK and internationally. They are investing in their data capability and are seeking a Data Analyst to help deliver timely, accurate information for decision-making, strengthen data governance, and improve data quality across the business.

The Role

• Build clear, user-friendly dashboards and reports, and provide training so colleagues can get the best from them.
• Map business processes and data flows to understand where data originates and how it’s used.
• Automate manual processes with practical tools aligned to the data strategy.
• Analyse large datasets, applying appropriate statistical methods to support stakeholders.
• Maintain and monitor key datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Create effective data visualisations in line with agreed requirements.
• Gather and document business requirements to inform solution design.
• Contribute to a “single source of truth” across the organisation.
• Support data collection activities and suggest ways to broaden the organisation’s data coverage.

The Person

• Experience in a similar data-focused role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Power BI for data modelling, visualisation and report building.
• Relevant third-level qualification (or equivalent) in a related field such as business, IT or statistics.
• Comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders and explaining technical topics in plain language.
• Strong organisation and time management; able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
• Experience working with large datasets and a sound grasp of the data lifecycle.
• Able to identify data risks and propose sensible corrective actions.
• Familiar with defining or reviewing data policies, standards and controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile ways of working.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Apps.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio and database management.
