Job Title: Data Analyst (Power BI)

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a finance and accounting transformation project for a global organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Power BI, Python, and SQL, with experience or familiarity with Snowflake being a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support decision-making across finance and business teams.
- Perform complex data analysis and transformation using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, data engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across different systems and reporting platforms.
- Conduct data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning for reporting solutions.
- Support ad-hoc data needs and deep-dive analytics requests.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within a data-driven environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals).
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python for data wrangling, analysis, and automation.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets from various sources.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Background in financial data or accounting systems.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles.
