Job summary

Amey is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Sheffield team at Olive Grove Depot (S2 3GE) on a 12‑month fixed-term contract. You will develop reports, dashboards and GIS-based tools to monitor performance, support operations, and drive data-driven improvements.

You will work on-site, collaborating with operational teams and subcontractors, promoting digital tools like PowerApps and SharePoint, and contributing to sustainability and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports and dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly performance monitoring.
• Support ad hoc data requests from operational teams and management.
• Enhance GIS mapping tools to support contract tracking, clashing and planning.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and innovation capture.
• Promote a data-driven culture across the team and provide support where needed
• Liaising with subcontractors to ensure programming data is up to date.
• Use digital tools for contract information and clash detection.
• Streamline processes to improve programming and productivity.
• Support digital tools such as PowerApps and SharePoint.
• Assist with dynamic planning to maximise operational efficiency.
• Support ongoing improvements within the team.
• Build digital capability across the wider team.
