**Job Summary**

The Systems Analyst I provides administrative and technical help. They perform data testing and coordinate between the system and user groups. They develop and modify programs and assist in policy and procedure development. They provide user training and monitor system changes. They study user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems. They design, implement, and maintain automated and manual systems. They install, test, maintain, and document programs that automate business processes. They work with users to support business applications.

**Essential Functions of the Role**

+ Studies current operational procedures, identifies problems and learns specific requirements for systems.

+ Provides help during system installation, conversions, printer connectivity, and report archival. Assists with distribution, production schedule updates, changes, and other production tasks.

+ Provides customer needs pertaining to the development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.

+ Based on customer need, implements and tests new applications, database designs and implementation to help applications.

+ Monitors performance of programs after implementation, including testing and making revisions to attain user approval.

+ Studies current operational procedures, identifies problems and learns specific requirements for systems.

+ Executes the process, studies the results, troubleshoots and interacts with users.

+ Writes and maintains reports, procedures, memoranda and/or user manuals to describe program development, rationale, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

+ Resolves operational problems and user concerns that arise during day-to-day operations.

+ Helps team efforts on new and existing projects.

**Key Success Factors**

+ Project management, testing, processing skills preferred.

+ SQL certification preferred.

**Salary**

**The pay range for this position is $25.14 (entry-level qualifications) - $42.11 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.**
