Job description

Job Title: GDPR Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GDPR Data Analyst to support our data protection and compliance efforts. In this role, you will ensure that the company's data practices align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data privacy laws. You will collaborate with legal, IT, compliance, and business teams to analyze data processing activities, identify risks, and support privacy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support "delete/anonymise/obfuscate (DAO) personal data" within our systems and data platforms as per GDPR retention requirements.
  2. Analyze data to identify volumes requiring removal, working with system SMEs and performing database analysis to document the current landscape for prioritization.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, privacy, or compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection laws.
  • Good communication skills, especially since the role is client-facing.
  • Ability to negotiate, lead or work effectively within a team, and support colleagues.
