As a Data Analyst, you will help onboard, manage, and maintain datasets used by traders and researchers, collaborating with data strategists, data engineers, and teams across technology, operations, research, and risk management.

You will investigate complex data issues in a fast-paced environment, profiling datasets, documenting findings, and surfacing actionable insights for stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Foundational knowledge of financial instruments and market data symbology.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python for exploratory data analysis (PySpark, pandas, Jupyter Notebooks).
• Ability to document and clearly explain complex data analysis findings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to think both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with cloud services and data tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse new datasets to profile their content and surface insights for stakeholders.
• Collect metrics and analyze data quality across completeness, validity, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
• Curate data catalog entries for discoverability of research data assets.
• Engage with front office research teams to support datasets throughout their lifecycle.
• Monitor and resolve production data issues with multiple teams and global support.
• Identify opportunities to improve datasets and data management processes.
