Business Intelligence Reporting Data Analyst with in-depth experience in data mining, analysis, and visualisation techniques is required for a well-established company based in Balham, South West London.

SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Balham, South West London (SW12) (Hybrid working opportunities)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Business Intelligence Reporting Data Analyst. Your expertise in data mining, analysis, and visualisation will be critical in uncovering insights and trends, enabling strategic decision-making and enhancing overall business efficiency.

As the Business Intelligence Reporting Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in KPI reporting, ensuring high data accuracy, enhancing Pricing Management strategies, and optimising import/export processes to and from ERP and other systems. The successful candidate will report to the IT Manager.

DUTIES

  1. Data Accuracy Auditing: Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability, maintaining high-quality standards for decision-making processes.
  2. Extracting Strategic Insights: Utilise advanced data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from databases, driving strategic decision-making processes.
  3. Business Intelligence Management: Handle Business Intelligence tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth data export/import processes and maintaining data integrity across systems.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports and conduct thorough data analysis for all departments, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  5. Establishing KPIs: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and agree on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for progress tracking, enabling continuous improvement initiatives and raising efficiency.
  6. Empowering Departments: Utilise your data management expertise to empower departments across the organisation, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
  7. Driving Growth: Drive business growth by providing valuable insights and facilitating informed decisions aligned with organisational goals and objectives.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Solid hands-on proven experience as a Data Analyst, with expertise in data mining, analysis, and visualisation techniques.
  2. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, SSRS, Microsoft Report Builder, SharePoint, and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Phocas, Power BI).
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  7. Ability to understand end-user requirements with a collaborative approach.
  8. Familiarity with modelling design.
  9. Self-driven and proactive.
  10. Autonomous and collaborative.

  3. Flexibility, primarily office-based in Balham with opportunities for hybrid working on successful completion of the probationary period.
