Job description

Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity for an experienced assistant psychologist with a background in research, audit, or improvement to work with the Ealing Mental Health Integrated Network Teams (MINT). The role aims to increase, improve, and support mental health services within the West London area, specifically in community mental health (MINT) teams across Ealing.

This position involves leading data analysis and continuous improvement efforts, alongside supporting the delivery of care for clients awaiting therapeutic intervention. The role requires postgraduate competencies and experience in these areas. The expected ratio of analyst to clinical work is approximately 70:30. An induction will be provided before starting, covering essential skills for the role.

Main Responsibilities
Clinical
  • Provide protocol-based assessments of risk to self and others, responding to client needs while promoting choice, control, and empowerment.
  • Conduct patient-centered interviews to identify areas for change and appropriate low-intensity interventions.
  • Deliver high-volume, low-intensity psychological treatments based on evidence-based practices, including guided self-help and psychoeducational groups.
  • Adhere to activity contracts to manage client contacts and clinical sessions, minimizing waiting times and ensuring accessible treatment.
  • Monitor treatment progress and provide feedback to clients, GPs, and referrers.
