Data Analyst Apprentice
Location: 1 day per week in the Wilmslow office
Qualification: Level 4
Salary: £25,000 (Rising to £32k once qualified)

The Citation Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst Apprentice to join our expanding Data team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our data operations during our international growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting data extraction and selection for marketing campaigns, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Assisting in data segmentation to target audiences effectively.
• Learning to use tools like SQL and Excel for working with large datasets and deriving insights.
• Collaborating with experienced analysts to understand customer behaviour and improve campaigns.
• Cleaning, validating, and preparing datasets for analysis.
• Producing reports and dashboards on campaign performance.
• Supporting cross-team data needs and maintaining GDPR compliance.
• Handling ad-hoc data tasks and daily operations.

Requirements:
About you:

• Interest in data, marketing, and decision-making.
• Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and statistics; eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP is a plus).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and good at communication.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or CRM systems is a bonus but not required.
