Data Analyst – Nectar Partner Analytics - 12 Month FTC

SQL - Data Analysis and Customer Insight - London/Hybrid Working

What is it about?

Who we are: Nectar360 is a fully integrated loyalty, insights, and media services agency, operating the UK's largest loyalty programme, helping some of the UK's biggest brands build impactful relationships with their customers.

The role is based within our Nectar Partnerships Analytics team, responsible for delivering market-leading customer insights to our partners on the Nectar Loyalty Programme. We're looking for a passionate customer insight analyst, ready to deliver impact in a fast-paced and varied role, with exposure to the breadth of analytical capabilities across our loyalty coalition business and its range of partners across multiple industries.

What will you be doing:
  1. Collaborating with internal teams and key client stakeholders to develop and implement analysis plans supporting key objectives and demonstrating data value. Managing multiple analytical projects simultaneously, prioritizing, and managing expectations.
  2. Taking full responsibility for complex analytical projects and supporting junior team members with their deliverables.
  3. Managing day-to-day analysis and planning, ensuring projects are completed according to plan. Extracting relevant and actionable insights beyond the data that are useful and interesting to clients.
  4. Proactively delivering increasing analytical value, such as process improvements and experimenting with new methods and data sources.
  5. Building strong stakeholder relationships to maximize value through insights.
  6. Ensuring insights are actionable by explaining complex analytics to non-technical audiences and providing clear recommendations.
What we would like you to have:
  • High-level experience with SQL and ideally Python.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects) and familiarity with AWS/Snowflake is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis and customer insight.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel calculations.
  • Experience in building propensity models and customer segmentation is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data into effective insights.

  • Ability to define analytical approaches for specific questions or hypotheses.
  • Leading cross-team initiatives, such as training and knowledge sharing.
