About us

Cotality is a global award-winning company with a mission to enhance property services through Technology, Data and Connectivity. Our Retrofit & Energy team plays a vital role in helping the UK achieve Net Zero carbon in housing. We’re known for our impartial, data-driven approach and have built a market-leading reputation for delivering trusted insights and solutions.

The role

We are looking for a member of staff with an interest in housing and analytics to join our analysis team. You’ll be working with housing data to explore suitable energy saving retrofit opportunities for our clients, who are typically housing associations and local authorities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and processing client data
  • Designing tailored retrofit programmes
  • Delivering training sessions and workshops
  • Responding to client queries and supporting client relationships
  • Contributing to product development

This role offers flexibility in both hours and location. While most of our analysts work remotely, we also offer access to our offices and regular team meet-ups online and in person.

Job Qualifications:

About you

You’ll bring a strong interest in housing, sustainability, and data analysis, along with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the social housing sector or understanding of home energy use and retrofit improvements
  • Experience of managing multiple projects and clients
  • A level (or equivalent) in Maths and/or Physics
  • Proficient in using MS Excel, or equivalent other tools for data manipulation
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
  • Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts
  • Enthusiastic about sustainability and the housing sector

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of Python, R and/or SQL
  • Knowledge of PowerBI
  • Experience of supervising junior personnel
