Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst to join the Data & Analytics Team at DHC. The team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely performance reporting, along with analytical insights across the organisation supporting both our Outpatient and Talking Therapies services, as well as internal functions.
The role primarily focuses on maintaining and producing regular reporting solutions, including contractual submissions to external bodies. You will play a key part in producing clear, consistent reports and supporting data validation efforts to ensure high standards of data quality and integrity.
While regular reporting is at the heart of this role, the team aims to continually evolve its data capabilities. This offers scope for the Data Analyst to contribute to the development of new reporting tools and more robust data validation processes.
We are seeking someone with a sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach to data. You will bring at least two to three years hands-on experience in a data-focused role, demonstrating a genuine interest in using data to support service delivery and operational performance.
This is a part-time role, 18-25 hours per week, across three to five days (depending on the number of hours). Hybrid working is available following an office-based settling-in period, with a minimum of two days per week based at the head office at Holmhurst.
Main duties of the jobWorking with the Data & Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for delivering contractual data submissions to NHS England and the Commissioner, as well as producing key internal reports to support data-driven decision-making across various teams at DHC. Reporting is primarily carried out using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, with some use of Power BI, based on data extracted from NHS systems. Strong Excel skills are essential, along with some knowledge of Access and/or Power BI.
