Job description

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team based in Peterborough, on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week on-site.

You will be tasked to set up a reporting function, using Power BI. Initially, the focus will be on consolidating data from around the business, creating a centralized data repository, and eventually developing Power BI reports and visuals. This is a brand-new environment, not an extension of an existing one.

Data Analyst - Key Skills

• Proficient in Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service)
• Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for calculations and metrics
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning
• Experience and understanding of relational databases and querying (SQL)
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing reports for performance
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (desirable)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
