Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Analyst at VALT. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data, creating reports, and providing insights to improve business operations. The role will involve working closely with different teams to optimize data models and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities for technical data analyst

• Experience working with enterprise Master Data Management tools to validate, match, and merge various master data sources into a common view
• Experience with data cleansing, validation processes and technologies
• Master Data Management tools, technologies and the latest trends
• Produce all technical deliverables to be consumed by modelers, developers, and design documents for projects
• Query and profile the data for data quality, ensure it provides what is required and perform data analysis to support the Business
• Data Analysis & Design - Requirement Analysis, functional and technical specification development for projects
• Provide Software Design, Business Requirement Document
• Proficient in understanding COBOL/mainframe programs, proc, subroutines, jcl and libraries, and converting them in into a Technical Specification and mapping document
• Proficient in writing SQLs and analyzing data for analysis/profiling

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills and Data Analytics expertise
• Strong background in Statistics
• Experience in Data Modeling
• Proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, or R
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
