Job summary

KDR Talent Solutions is seeking a proactive Data Analyst for a 2-month contract in Cheshire. Hybrid arrangement, with ideally one day in the office per week, to support a college project and maintain momentum.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the data landscape, establish robust KPIs, set up governance, and define clear processes to strengthen data practices. Strong SQL, DAX, Power BI, and API skills are essential, with Databridge knowledge optional.

Job Title: Data Analyst (2-Month Contract)

Location: Cheshire/South Manchester (Hybrid – ideally 1 day a week in the office)

Rate: Up to £400 / day

The Role

We are urgently looking for a proactive, "on-the-ball" Data Analyst to support a college project in Cheshire. With their previous analyst moving on, the college needs a safe pair of hands to step in for an initial 2 months, plug the gap, and keep momentum going.

This isn't just a maintenance role. We need someone who can take ownership of the data landscape, adding in robust KPIs, setting up data governance, and defining clear processes to leave the function in a much stronger place.

• Core Tech: Strong hands-on experience with SQL, DAX, Power BI, and APIs.
• Systems: The main system in use is Databridge. Because this is a very specific college system, no prior experience with it is required.
• Soft Skills: You need to be a self-starter who can hit the ground running, spot what needs structuring, and implement best practices with minimal hand-holding.
