Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data reporting professional in Manchester to own end-to-end reporting cycles across brands and territories. The role involves loading data into the data warehouse, building transformations, and maintaining accurate measurement and attribution logic from tracking to revenue.

You will validate data across commerce, ERP, and analytics platforms, explain variances to source teams, and support system migrations with careful data mapping and testing.

Job description

• Own the daily, weekly and monthly reporting cycle across brands, channels and territories, delivering on time with reconciliations and explained movements.


• Help load data into the data warehouse by onboarding sources and connectors, checking feeds, and building transformation logic and reporting models.


• Validate data across commerce, ERP and analytics platforms; trace variances to root cause and resolve them with source-owning teams.


• Support system migrations by mapping data, testing transfers, reconciling parallel systems and maintaining reporting stability.


• Maintain accurate and consistent measurement and attribution logic from tracking and tagging through cost and revenue assignment.


• Maintain and extend self-serve reporting tools and provide first-line support for reporting issues.


• Document definitions, build automated validation checks and use AI tooling to automate reporting and reconciliation work.


• Participate in the recruitment process, including an in-person office interview and short task.

Requirements

• Experience in a reporting, data quality, BI or analytics role, ideally in beauty, retail, ecommerce or DTC.


• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.


• Working SQL — comfortable querying a data warehouse to trace a number back to source, joining across tables to find where it broke, and writing the transformation logic on top.


• Some exposure to how data moves from a source system into a warehouse, including connectors, scheduled loads and layered models.


• Comfortable using AI day to day and keen to get better at it.


• Rigorous, with an instinct for when a figure looks off and the patience to trace why.


• Clear communication skills, including explaining data issues and commercial impact and following up with responsible stakeholders.


• Self-starter able to maintain a BAU reporting calendar while handling ad hoc investigations.


• Willingness to learn modern data warehouse and BI tooling; prior exposure is nice to have, not required.
