About

Our client is a dynamic and ambitious insurance company based in the heart of Manchester, and they're on the lookout for a talented Data Analyst to help them drive data-led decisions as they scale. If you're passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights and thrive in a collaborative, small-team environment - they'd love to meet you.

Location and Salary: 5 days on site | £40,000 per year

What You'll Do
  1. Collect, clean, and analyse internal data to uncover trends and business insights
  2. Develop dashboards and reports for various teams to support strategic decisions
  3. Work closely with Operations, Underwriting, and Finance, supporting key initiatives
  4. Identify opportunities for business improvements through data analysis
  5. Present findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels
What We're Looking For
  1. 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role
  2. Strong skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  3. Ability to work independently, using own initiative to deliver valuable outcomes
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a curious, problem-solving mindset
  5. Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus, but not essential
  6. Willingness to support a small, dedicated team by performing roles outside the scope of a Data Analyst
