Job summary

Awaze, Europe’s largest managed vacation rentals and holiday resorts business, is undergoing an AI-driven transformation and seeks a Data Analyst to turn complex questions into actionable insights across Revenue, Marketing, Product and Finance. Position: Data Analyst

Reports to: Chief Data Officer

The Role

A high-visibility data analytical role sitting directly alongside the Chief Data Officer.

You will turn complex, often ambiguous business questions into clear insight and action, embedded into key commercial projects across Revenue, Marketing, Product, and Finance. You will also collaborate closely with the CDO's wider team (Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence), acting as a bridge between the data function and the business, knowing when to self-serve and when to draw on specialist capability.

What you'll do day-to-day

• Commercial project support Analytical horsepower on priority initiatives — pricing, demand, segmentation, owner acquisition.
• Ad-hoc analysis Rapid-turnaround answers to questions from the CDO and senior leadership.
• Cross-team collaboration Working with Data Engineering, Data Science, and BI to ensure insight lands with the right infrastructure and rigour behind it.
• Stakeholder communication Clear, concise outputs for non-technical audiences up to C-suite.

What we're looking For:

• Analytical mindset: Pattern recognition, sharp follow-up questions, and a restless curiosity, you find the insight others miss.
• Commercial instinct: You know data only matters when it drives a decision.
• SQL: Strong, confident querying of large datasets. Snowflake experience a plus.
• Exce: Model-building, scenario analysis, outputs that speak for themselves.
• AI tools: Comfortable with Claude, Copilot, and curious about what's next.
• Collaboration: Equally effective working independently or alongside engineering, science, and BI teams.
• Communication: Concise by default, credible with senior stakeholders.
• Experience: Gained within a commercial or consumer business. Travel, e-commerce, or marketplace a plus.
