Job description

Role Overview: What is it?

This role is a key element of our organisational focus and commitment to using data as a valuable tool to support our understanding of performance, drive improvements, and communicate our impact to support our ambitious growth journey.

Working across our full suite of internal systems, the role will incorporate all aspects of the data analysis function, including data cleansing, defect management, root cause analysis, process review, data collation, and manipulation.

Using this raw data, the role will identify and develop opportunities to use and present data in an innovative, engaging, and effective way to maximize organisational outcomes.

Additionally, the role will lead the creation of specific management information outputs (in prescribed formats) for key external stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness aligned with service level agreements and expectations.

As part of our commitment to organisational development, growth, and data-led decision-making, we are investing heavily in new ICT systems. This role will support and facilitate this transition, working with departmental leads and data owners to ensure a smooth process.

Main Duties: What needs to be done?

  1. Provide regular reporting packs to the various public bodies we work with.
  2. Prepare and automate monthly management packs with detailed business and financial analysis and insights.
  3. Provide statistical information and insights for business development and profile raising.
  4. Support decision-making by analyzing data to understand business drivers and evaluate ongoing initiatives.
  5. Work with management to develop forecasts.
  6. Assist in generating and analyzing customer satisfaction surveys.
  7. Collaborate with departments to improve data quality and accessibility, providing insights to support operations.
  8. Support ad hoc projects, such as reporting on property pipelines and new business expansions.
  9. Assist in migrating data from legacy systems into Omniledger or other platforms.
  10. Establish and document processes for extracting information from various data sources.
  11. Coordinate with external IT support to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Omniledger.
  12. Train finance and other teams on Power BI.
