Closing the Trust Gap in E-commerce

Location: Remote with hybrid option (2 days in Shoreditch office near Old Street)
Salary: £90-115k (includes comprehensive benefits package)

Our Mission: Fixing Trust in Commerce

For a decade, we've been on a mission to close the Trust Gap—commerce's most expensive problem. In a world where distance and digital interfaces separate buyers and sellers, we're building the definitive trust infrastructure that enables global trade to flourish.

We recognise that trust is not binary but a spectrum, and our work continually expands the boundaries of commerce itself. Each improvement we make enables transactions that previously wouldn't have happened, revealing new frontiers where trust can be further enhanced.

Our Impact Today

We've grown from an idea into the dominant force for trust in e-commerce:

  • Shopify's #1 Review Solution : We've earned over 44k five-star reviews from merchants who rely on us daily
  • Global Scale : More than 500k shops across 140+ countries use our platform
  • Massive Reach : We process over 70 million orders monthly, generating 2 million+ verified buyer reviews

Organic Growth : We've achieved 40% year-over-year growth purely through word of mouth—no paid marketing or sales teams needed

The Opportunity

As our Data Analyst, you'll work closely with our Data Lead to support both our Trust Optimisation Platform (external-facing) and internal business intelligence needs. Your work will be essential to uncovering insights from our vast dataset and transforming them into actionable information for both merchants and internal teams.

What Makes This Role Special
  • Dual Impact : Support both product-facing data initiatives and internal BI requirements
  • Massive Data Scale : Work with one of the largest e-commerce review datasets in the world
  • Strategic Influence : Your analysis will directly shape product decisions and business strategy
  • Collaborative Environment : Work directly with our Data Lead and cross-functional teams
Your Responsibilities
Product Data Platform (50%)
  • Support the Data Lead by analysing review content and merchant performance data
  • Create and refine dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights for merchants
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific product questions
  • Validate data quality and identify trends in customer review content
Internal Business Intelligence (50%)
  • Build and maintain internal reporting tools and dashboards
  • Develop KPI tracking systems to monitor business performance
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Design self-service analytics tools for teams across the organisation
  • Collaborate with product teams to analyse feature performance and user behavior
  • Work closely with the Growth team to uncover insights and funnel opportunities that drive acquisition and monetisation
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves
  • Strong SQL expertise and experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, etc.)
  • Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and visualisation tools
  • Experience translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Track record of using data to inform product and business decisions
  • Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful patterns
  • Strong communication skills to present findings clearly and effectively
  • Knowledge of data warehousing platforms (Redshift, etc)
Nice-to-Haves
  • Practical experience of utilizing AI solutions within BI and data analytics
  • Python for data analysis and visualisation
  • Experience with e-commerce analytics and metrics
  • Basic data engineering knowledge and understanding of data pipelines
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
Why This Role Matters

As part of our growing Data Team, you'll work directly with our Data Lead to build the systems that power both merchant insights and internal decision-making. Your work will directly impact how hundreds of thousands of merchants build trust with their customers, while also ensuring our company makes informed strategic decisions. If you're excited about leveraging data to solve real-world problems at scale, we want to talk to you

We reward exceptional performance and are building a team that consistently pushes for better results. Success here means finding innovative ways to achieve more with our existing resources. We value time above all else—it's our scarcest resource. We budget time more strictly than money, establishing short feedback loops and breaking initiatives into their smallest units of value.

Our international team brings diverse perspectives to every challenge. We believe in lifting each other up through active knowledge sharing because our collective strength determines our success. We combine ambitious goals with pragmatic execution, creating sustainable high performance through better processes, not longer hours.

Your Package
The Essentials
  • £60-80k+ Monthly Business Performance Bonus
  • 30 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Private health insurance (Vitality)
  • Brand new Macbook, access to equipment as required
