Tower Hamlets Partnership is seeking a Data Analyst to enhance the Exploitation Service’s capabilities through comprehensive data analysis. The role requires coordination with multiple agencies to provide insights into child safety and welfare issues, aiming to reduce risks associated with extra-familial harm and exploitation. Ideal candidates will have significant analytical experience in a multi-agency environment, with a strong understanding of child protection policies.
An opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to work within the Co-located Exploitation Service. As part of the development of our Exploitation Service and the wider harm outside the home framework, we require a professional to join the team to triangulate and understand the data we hold across the partnerships relating to children being harmed outside the home.
At the core of the Service is our Data Analyst for the Exploitation Service. You will lead the division and multi-agency partnership on the delivery of detailed analysis drawn from a wide spectrum of partnership data and intelligence to inform work to identify and reduce the risk of extra-familial harm and exploitation of children and young people in LBTH. Through this analysis and the coordination and distribution of key information to facilitate the functioning of strategic and operational meetings associated with reducing risk to children and young people from extra-familial harm and exploitation, you will be pivotal in improving outcomes for our children and young people.
LBTH is continually developing a more informed approach to working with children and young people at risk and harm, and this role will contribute to this effort. The post holder will work within the co-located exploitation service, with wider links to Community Safety and the Strategy, Policy and Improvement Teams. The post holder will be required to coordinate information from multiple agencies to gain a broader understanding of children at risk and being harmed outside the home, including Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), and assessing the prevalence of County/Local Lines in the area. The post holder should be able to draw on information and expertise from partner agencies but also work independently to gather and analyse new data.
