As a key element of critical national infrastructure, telecommunications operators are interwoven into a severe and relentless threat landscape. In a role like no other, dealing with the most advanced and harmful adversaries is our daily routine.
Our unique and specialist team respond to bespoke analytical requirements, no two days are the same. We use the latest technology to conduct high-precision high-impact analysis which protects our customers, colleagues and the society we live in.
This job role can be based in London, Ipswich or Cheltenham. (5 days office based). Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week). You must be able to obtain DV clearance in order to start this role. You will need to have lived in the UK for 10 years+ to obtain this.
As a Data Analyst in Cyber Processing and Data Science, you will:
Data Analysis. Plan, execute and report on analytical tasking relating to the most advanced threats on our networks.
Customer contact. Liaise with analytical customers to understand their requirements, develop our relationship and provide world class service.
Report Writing. Produce relevant, timely and actionable reporting on your analysis, complying with information handling policies and procedures.
Peer Reviews. Give and receive feedback on analytical techniques and reports to share knowledge and uphold the highest standards.
Continual Professional Development. Make use of training resources, events and subject matter experts to further a relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Data Analysis. You will have an inquisitive mindset and a drive to pursue understanding of data. You may be familiar with SQL, Python, Scala or Spark.
Data Storytelling. You will have written analytical reports to communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. You may have experience of presenting or public speaking.
Big Data. You may have experience with big data platforms, or complex and interlinked datasets.
Networking. You may have knowledge of networking principles such as the OSI model and the TCP/IP suite.
Cyber or related field. You may have experience in cyber security or a related field.
