About the role

We are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our Operations Support team. The role involves providing management information to senior leaders, supporting the development, analysis, and delivery of operational and financial data across activities, aligning with the Trust’s strategic goals and statutory obligations.

The successful candidate will liaise with senior management, develop and support business performance reporting, and help improve operational efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Location

This role is primarily remote, with occasional attendance at hubs in Leeds, Ellesmere Port, Burnley, Newark, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, or Gloucester. Candidates should be able to commute reasonably to one of these hubs.

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reports on Trust priorities, analyzing data for trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Interpret and present data clearly using various media.
  • Provide timely, accurate reports to colleagues at all levels, including financial and operational metrics.
  • Maintain and improve measurement and reporting systems, emphasizing automation.
  • Collaborate with teams to define data analysis needs and support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity, investigate anomalies, and perform performance analysis to identify productivity and compliance improvements.

Technical skills:

  • Experience in understanding unfamiliar industries and developing high-quality data management and analysis skills.
  • Ability to generate and present analysis on cost control, productivity, and targets.
  • Proficiency in extracting data from external sources and automating reports.
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar visualization tools.
  • Ability to communicate data insights effectively.
  • Experience in continuous improvement environments or with lean principles is desirable.

General skills:

  • IT skills across platforms, with the ability to interpret data for reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.

What We Offer
