Company Profile

LabelWorx, founded in 2007, is the leading global distributor specialising in Dance & Electronic music. Our mission is to streamline success and amplify Dance music on a global scale. We are passionate about celebrating the culture and talent within our industry, constantly seeking new opportunities to grow, innovate, and uplift those around us.

The Role:

We’re looking for a data-driven thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for making sense of numbers. As our dedicated Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in empowering teams across the business to make smarter, faster decisions through accurate, timely insights.

Sitting within our Operations department, you will report to the Senior Operations & Content Manager and the VP of Artists Content & Labels. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, and Management teams to gather and translate data into digestible formats. From forecasting operational capacity to identifying upsell opportunities through customer performance metrics, you’ll be at the heart of our data strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company where data is becoming a cornerstone of growth. This is more than just a reporting role, it’s a chance to build the foundation of our data function from the ground up. With a high level of autonomy, exposure to leadership, and room to shape your career as the department grows, this role is perfect for someone who wants to make their mark and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own regular performance reporting across departments, ensuring data is accurate, insightful, and actionable.
  • Collate and maintain data from multiple sources, standardising formats and improving accessibility across the business.
  • Design, build and maintain clear, intuitive dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to support team objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales pipeline data, customer trends, and support metrics to uncover insights and identify risks or growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and improve data integrity across all touchpoints, ensuring confidence in our reporting.
  • Support forecasting for operational capacity, helping to inform planning decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into meaningful outputs.
  • Help lay the groundwork for future data infrastructure.

Essential skills to include:

  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role.
  • Confident with Tableau, Excel, and Python for analysis and automation tasks.
  • Strong grasp of data visualisation and storytelling, able to communicate complex findings clearly.
  • Experience working with sales, support, DSP and operational data sets.
  • Self-starter mentality, comfortable working independently in a newly created role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for data anomalies or inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with independent artists or labels.
  • Experience working with DSP sales & analytics data.
