Job summary

Moon Commerce Limited is a UK-based technology company building data-driven ventures across commerce and SaaS. You will join a hands-on analytics role, unifying data from multiple sources and delivering reporting used by leadership to guide decisions.

You’ll own the reporting layer from ground up, mentoring with the leadership team, and producing weekly and monthly insights across all ventures. You’ll work in a hybrid setup with two days in the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on SQL experience.
• Proficiency with Python (pandas) or strong Excel, and BI tools.
• Ability to walk us through at least one end-to-end project.
• Clear written and spoken English; able to present to non‑technical people.

Moon Commerce Limited is a UK-registered technology company building and operating digital ventures across commerce, consulting, property and SaaS. We trade online, advise businesses on digital transformation and data-driven marketing, and are developing an AI-powered automation platform that turns repetitive processes into scalable systems.

We’re small and early-stage, which means the person in this role will see the whole business rather than one corner of it.

The role

Our data currently lives in separate places — sales platforms, ad accounts, client reporting, and internal systems. You’ll bring it together and turn it into reporting the team actually uses to make decisions.

This is a hands‑on role with direct mentoring from the leadership team. You won’t be maintaining someone else’s dashboards; you’ll be building the reporting layer from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain dashboards covering trading performance, marketing spend and client delivery

Your first three months

• Month 1: learn the ventures, map where every data source lives, fix the reporting that’s most broken
• Month 2: ship your first dashboard into weekly use
• Month 3: Own the monthly reporting pack end to end

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ hands‑on SQL experience
• Python (pandas) or strong Excel, plus Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio
• At least one project you can walk us through end to end and defend the decisions in
• Clear written and spoken English; you’ll present to non‑technical people
• Attention to detail and a habit of checking your own numbers
• Right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorship
• Able to work from our [area] office 2 days a week

Hiring process

• 20-minute introductory call
• 45-minute technical conversation including a short SQL exercise
