What’s the role?
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Data Analyst to join our friendly Gas Data Team. In this role, you’ll be working with SMS customer Gas AMR (Automatic Meter Reader) data—monitoring performance, identifying trends, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly.
You’ll play an important part in supporting our third-party contractors, helping to resolve any issues with devices quickly and efficiently. Your work will help us continue delivering the high standards our customers expect, while maintaining accuracy and quality in how we manage our data.
This role involves working closely with engineers and other teams across SMS, contributing to a joined-up service that puts the customer first. You’ll also have direct contact with customers, so being confident in communication is key.
You’ll be supported by the Gas Data Team Manager and will have access to training and development opportunities to help you grow in the role. It’s a great chance to join a knowledgeable and supportive team that values collaboration and continuous learning.
This role is offered on a 6-months fixed term contract. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:00, 40 hours per week. Hybrid working is on offer, consisting of 2 days in our Glasgow office and 3 days at home.
