About the Company

A fast-growing Wealth Management start-up, aiming to disrupt the market by offering conflict-free financial advice with a holistic approach. Managing £10bn+ in assets, the company is currently in its Series C funding round and expanding rapidly. Unlike traditional firms, they do not directly manage assets, allowing greater flexibility to support clients in achieving their financial goals. Their app-based platform aggregates customer financial data and provides personalised financial services, with regulated advisers offering one-to-one guidance via chat.

The Role

This is a newly introduced Data Analyst role, where you will be the sole specialist in this area, working closely with Platform Engineering and Platform Support to enhance data processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teams with SQL tasks and general management of RDS
  • Monitoring data flow, retention policies, and overall database integrity
  • Optimising performance by identifying opportunities to improve speed and efficiency
  • Ensuring best practices in cloud-based data administration
  • Driving refinements in scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience in cloud-based SQL data administration
  • Strong understanding of database performance, retention policies, and optimisation
  • Passion for enhancing data efficiency, improving speed, and reducing costs
  • Experience in regulated industries and compliance frameworks would be advantageous
