Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking a finance analytics specialist in Cambridge. The role focuses on building Power BI dashboards, defining KPIs, and delivering insights to senior leaders.

You will own FP&A metrics, support forecasting, and work across SQL, Python, and Excel. The role is full-time and hybrid, with modern data-driven reporting in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Two to three years in a finance-facing analytics role.
• Strong Power BI skills.
• Solid FP&A knowledge.
• Ability to define and track KPIs and financial metrics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to finance and non-finance audiences.
• SQL, Python, advanced Excel, and experience with star or snowflake data models are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Design and deliver Power BI dashboards used by senior leaders.
• Define and own the KPIs and financial metrics that matter to the business.
• Help create a single reliable source of truth from data spread across multiple ERP systems and APIs.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling using data-led insight.
• Work hands-on across Power BI, Excel, and where relevant SQL, Python, or VBA.
• Improve governance and automate manual processes.
• Explore how agentic AI and intelligent automation could improve reporting.

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

We are a well-established, independently owned professional services consultancy based at our Cambridge headquarters. You will join our Finance and Operations team as a data-driven partner supporting the business with reporting, insight, and analysis. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role, with up to half your time from home after probation.
