Job Description:

Our client, an elite US law firm, is seeking a talented and forward-thinking mid-level lawyer to join their AI & Data Regulation practice in London. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge legal work in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI (Gen-AI), and data regulation, including the EU Data Act.

You will advise global clients on AI development, licensing, deployment, and data privacy within a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, including digital market regulations such as the EU AI Act and the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

Team's Capabilities:
  • Advise on AI and Gen-AI technologies, including issues around intellectual property, licensing, and deployment.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data protection, privacy compliance, and cybersecurity within the AI space.
  • Navigate complex regulatory frameworks such as the EU Data Act, AI Act, and other relevant digital regulations.
  • Assist with M&A transactions, strategic collaborations, and licensing agreements related to AI and data technologies.
  • Manage litigation risks arising from AI-related claims, including issues with deepfakes and AI-generated content.
Ideal Candidate:
