Job description

Linklaters Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices. Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional. We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind‑set we aim to bring to every interaction. Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere. We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

Your Role

Manages the delivery and operations of technology services for a Linklaters product, helping to ensure alignment with business objectives and the Firm's wider Technology Strategy. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams and internal customers, supporting the development of the service roadmap and helping to implement data‑driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the Data & AI Product Lead in driving the strategic vision, ensuring delivery milestones are met and acting as a key contributor to programme‑level planning and execution.
  • Acts as a key liaison with the Generative AI Steering Committee, providing regular updates, facilitating decision‑making, and ensuring stakeholder alignment across initiatives.
  • Owns the operational oversight of a Data & AI product, ensuring alignment with business priorities and the Firm’s Technology Strategy across sprints and planning cycles.
  • Shapes the long‑term service vision in collaboration with senior stakeholders, ensuring it addresses cross‑practice needs and contributes to the Firm’s data and innovation agenda.
  • Partners with senior stakeholders, including Partners and functional leads, to surface unmet needs and define high‑value use cases that inform the product roadmap.
  • Leads the development and continuous refinement of the service roadmap and backlog, applying prioritisation frameworks to balance competing demands and deliver measurable business value.
  • Oversees the end‑to‑end lifecycle of AI MVPs — from scoping and piloting through to production deployment — ensuring robust governance, traceability, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintains a strategic view of external market trends in Data, AI, and LegalTech, advising internal stakeholders on opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Prepares and presents strategic updates, risk assessments, and product performance reports to senior leadership and SteerCo audiences with clarity and influence.
About You

Professional experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis roles within data or AI‑driven settings. Demonstrable experience contributing to the successful delivery of AI or data‑focused projects in a cross‑functional team environment. Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data architecture, including experience working with data pipelines and data platforms. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and working with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements and support a roadmap’s development. Experience with data governance, legal technology, or enterprise data solutions is highly desirable but not essential. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data to make informed decisions and recommendations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑expert audiences. An interest in emerging AI technologies and trends, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
