About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and talented data professional to join our Data Advisory team. You will play a pivotal role in advising our clients to unlock the full potential and business value of their data assets.
As a BJSS Consultant, you will work with our clients, guiding them to be more effective in making data-driven decisions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic guidance and consulting services to influential client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, emphasizing the importance of uncovering business value through organizational data.
- Collaborating closely with clients to understand their unique business needs, priorities, and challenges to develop solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Conducting comprehensive data assessments to identify current data maturity levels and opportunities to build new capabilities, processes, and infrastructure, and effectively communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
- Developing data architecture blueprints and roadmaps aligned with business objectives to support long-term strategy and identify immediate next steps.
- Acting as a thought leader and trusted partner to our clients, conducting workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and sharing opinions on latest trends.
- Enabling our clients to succeed with data by promoting strong data governance, harnessing value through advanced analytics, and establishing operating models supporting self-service and data literacy.
About You
This is a senior role within our Data Advisory team and is suited for data professionals with a broad and varied background. Experience in the following areas will help you succeed:
- You are an experienced consultant who understands how data unlocks business value and can shape and set a data strategy by translating this knowledge into actionable guidance for stakeholders across a business.
- You possess broad knowledge across several data disciplines, backed by deep expertise in areas such as data governance, architecture, platforms, data engineering, analytics, or data science.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and articulating recommendations.
- You can lead projects, build client relationships, and help our team deliver successful outcomes.
- You have a keen awareness of different data strategies, paradigms, and solutions, and can articulate the business benefits appropriately for different client audiences.
- You have proven expertise in business development activities, including building enduring client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to marketing and proposal development.
