Data Advisory Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented data professional to join our Data Advisory team. You will play a pivotal role in advising our clients to unlock the full potential and business value of their data assets.

As a BJSS Consultant, you will work with our clients, guiding them to be more effective in making data-driven decisions. In this role, you will:

  1. Provide strategic guidance and consulting services to influential client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, emphasizing the importance of uncovering business value through organizational data.
  2. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique business needs, priorities, and challenges to develop solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  3. Conduct comprehensive data assessments to identify current levels of data maturity and opportunities to build new capabilities, processes, and infrastructure, while effectively communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
  4. Develop data architecture blueprints and roadmaps aligned with business objectives to support long-term strategy and identify immediate next steps.
  5. Act as a thought leader and trusted partner to our clients by conducting workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and sharing opinions on the latest trends.
  6. Enable our clients to succeed with data by promoting strong data governance, harnessing value through advanced analytics, and establishing operating models that support self-service and data literacy.
About You

This is a senior role within our Data Advisory team, suited for data professionals with diverse backgrounds. Experience in the following areas will help you succeed:

  1. Being an experienced consultant who understands how data unlocks business value and can shape and set a data strategy by translating this knowledge into actionable guidance for stakeholders.
  2. Having broad knowledge across several data disciplines, with deep expertise in areas such as data governance, architecture, platforms, data engineering, analytics, or data science.
  3. Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and articulate recommendations.
  4. Leading projects, building client relationships, and helping our team deliver successful outcomes.
  5. Having a keen awareness of different data strategies, paradigms, and solutions, and the ability to articulate their business benefits appropriately for different audiences.
  6. Proven expertise in business development activities, including building enduring client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to marketing and proposal development.
