The Role…
Join us as a Data Administrator, completing a Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship, where you’ll play a key role in the daily upkeep and optimisation of the data systems and dashboards that power our business decisions. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about turning raw data into real-world impact and wants to grow into a strategic data professional. Your mission: ensure our data flows smoothly, dashboards stay sharp, and insights stay actionable!
What you can expect in a Data Technician Apprentice role at althaus:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources, ensuring our datasets are accurate, consistent, and ready for analysis.
- Manage the day-to-day performance of our existing dashboards and data infrastructure, ensuring that systems run smoothly and reliably.
- Update and refine Power BI dashboards using predefined templates, with opportunities to contribute to new features and enhancements.
- Analyse trends and translate them into clear, actionable insights that align with business KPIs and strategic goals.
- Assist in data audits and validation checks to uphold data integrity across platforms.
- Support staff with systems, data and general IT practices.
Your areas of knowledge that matter most for this role…
- Exceptional attention to detail — you catch the small things that matter.
- Strong organisation and time management skills — you get things done without dropping the ball.
- A persistent problem-solver who’s not afraid to ask “why?”
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and confidence with Power BI.
- A curiosity for business and how data drives performance.
- Willing to actively work towards your Level 3 Data Technician Apprenticeship qualification.

Teams call with our
Head of Funding & Compliance – this is all about fit and feel.
Stage 2: An in-person interview at our office with our Compliance Team and panel.
