You will work remotely, providing interpreting services over the phone or via video calls. Using your language skills, you will interpret conversations accurately and efficiently in various professional settings.

• Interpret between English and your native language over phone or video calls.
• Provide interpretation services to clients with limited English proficiency.
• Interpret for legal, health, and local government services.
• Check non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence.
• Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
• Provide accurate, confidential, and impartial interpreting services.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

About You

• Fluent in English and another language.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Be aged 21 or over.
• Hold formal qualifications such as:
  • Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
  • Community Interpreting
  • NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration (advantageous)
  • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
  • Any other interpreting-related qualification
