Job summary

Worldwide Teaching Ltd is recruiting a Dance Teacher to join a South Manchester secondary school on a full-time maternity cover starting January 2027. You will deliver engaging KS3 dance lessons and support students studying BTEC Dance, working to build confidence, technique and creative expression.

The role welcomes both qualified (QTS) and unqualified teachers with strong dance knowledge and a passion for education.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering KS3 dance sessions.
• Familiarity with BTEC Dance curriculum.
• Passion for teaching dance and student engagement.
• Open to both qualified and unqualified teachers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3 dance lessons.
• Support students studying BTEC Dance and assignments.
• Develop technique, choreography and performance skills.
• Provide constructive feedback on progress.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupil progress.
