Job Description

Astro Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Dance Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time position starting immediately, teaching Dance across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about inspiring students and raising attainment in Dance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Dance lessons to students aged 11-16 (KS3 & KS4).
• Support students' learning, progress, and achievement in Dance.
• Contribute to extra-curricular Dance activities and school events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
• Take on full teaching responsibilities including planning, assessment, and reporting.

Essential Requirements
