About the Role

As our Dance and Movement Tutor, you’ll use your creativity and passion to inspire and engage the people we support. You’ll plan and deliver fun, accessible sessions that encourage self-expression, build confidence, and promote wellbeing.

Every day will be different from exploring different dance styles to adapting activities so everyone can take part and shine. You’ll work closely with our Arts Team and the wider creative community, helping us offer a rich variety of opportunities while ensuring our arts spaces are welcoming and safe for all.

About you

You’re someone who believes dance is for everyone.

  • Experienced in leading inclusive dance or movement sessions for a variety of needs and abilities.
  • Confident in adapting your approach to suit different physical, sensory, and learning requirements.
  • Creative, patient, and able to inspire individuals and groups alike.
  • Warm and approachable, with strong communication skills to build positive relationships with people we support, families, and colleagues.
  • Organised and comfortable with keeping accurate records and sharing progress.
  • Passionate about creating joyful, meaningful dance experiences that empower others.
