Job summary

Indepth Hygiene Services, part of Premier Technical Services Group Ltd, is seeking an experienced Ventilation Hygiene Engineer to cover Lytham and the North. You will inspect fire dampers, test drop tests, and clean grease extraction systems to TR19 Grease standards, reporting defects with photographic evidence.

This full-time role offers overtime, a company vehicle, uniform and PPE, and real career growth within a trusted UK safety specialist.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in ventilation hygiene, fire damper testing or ductwork cleaning is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Valid CSCS card required.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire damper inspections and drop testing.
• Clean commercial kitchen extract systems to TR19 Grease standards.
• Identify and report defects and ensure works are completed safely.
• Assist with site set-up, safe system of work implementation and access equipment use.
• Complete accurate reports with photographic evidence.

Ventilation Hygiene Engineer – Grease Extraction & Fire Damper Testing
Location: Lytham covering the North
Salary: Up to £30,000 + overtime + bonus
Hours: Days and Nights - 10 hour days (including travel)

Indepth Hygiene Services are seeking an experienced Fire Damper & Grease Extraction Engineer to work within a two-man team across both day and night shifts.

The role involves supporting the Team Leader in carrying out fire damper inspections and drop testing, cleaning commercial kitchen extract systems in accordance with TR19 Grease standards, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high professional standard.

You will be responsible for assisting with site set-up, safe system of work implementation, access equipment use, and the completion of accurate reports with photographic evidence.
