Damp & Mould Project Manager
London Borough of Waltham Forest
£51.55 p/h Umbrella Rate | 6-month contract

Are you an experienced project manager with a strong understanding of damp and mould issues in residential housing? London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) is looking for a highly organised and compliance-driven Damp & Mould Project Manager to join their Housing team on an initial 6-month contract.

About the Role
In this role, you'll lead the delivery of damp and mould investigations, remediation, and preventative works across LBWF's housing stock. You'll coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that all works meet legal and regulatory standards, stay within budget, and are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
·Oversee damp and mould case management across the borough's housing portfolio
·Ensure contractors and consultants deliver compliant, high-quality work
·Maintain accurate records and update asset management systems
·Work in close collaboration with the Building Safety and Compliance teams
·Monitor project timelines, costs, and performance against service-level expectations

To be considered you must:
·Be a UK Resident
·Proven experience in housing project management, particularly around damp, mould, or disrepair issues
·Strong knowledge of housing standards, health & safety, and compliance frameworks
·Confident working with multiple stakeholders - from residents to contractors and internal teams
·Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
