Job description

Permanent - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a Damp and Mould Operative to join us on our Waltham Forest R&M contract.

About the role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll carry out responsive painting and decorating to occupied properties, including glossing, emulsion, and papering, in addition to undertaking mould wash and eradication treatments. You’ll ensure effective preparation techniques, producing “perfect” finishes to all applications, whilst delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers always come first.

You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve an excellent customer experience.

About You

Candidates will ideally hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification or NVQ with excellent working H & S knowledge. Customer-focused with experience of working in occupied properties, you’ll have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time. With a good eye for detail and the ability to work as a team and independently, you must have sound knowledge of damp and mould treatments to fulfil this role.

You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
