Job description

We have a new contract vacancy for an experienced operator to join an excellent unit in this very picturesque part of the country; we seek a competent tractor driver who has a connection with dairy husbandry.

The foundation of the role is to take the leading role in the day-to-day mechanisation of this well-equipped dairy unit. This comprises TMR feeding the 500-cow herd and managing the spacious loose housing and excellent dry/youngstock accommodation within a range of well laid out buildings.

This position will suit a dairy enthusiast, driven by attention to detail and welfare with an interest in pedigree cows who is motivated by team performance and achievement. With a commitment to training and career development, the farm will offer a broad range of responsibilities to include maintenance of machinery and feed stock control.

The successful applicant will be offered a nice 3 bed house on the farm, close to a full range of amenities in a very picturesque part of the county, along with an excellent pay and time off package.

If you seek an environment which also provides, please contact James Picot on 07802 596633 for further details of this vacancy.
