Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd. is recruiting production operatives for our Crewkerne dairy site. The role operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule, with early hours (06:00–18:00) and opportunities to progress after training.

The team works across dairy, fruit and savoury production lines to create high-quality yogurts and related products. Successful applicants will join a fast-paced environment with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills for production records and paperwork.
• Able to work in a physically demanding role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and high hygiene standards.
• Proactive team player who can contribute to a collaborative shift.
• Demonstrates reliability and ability to work unsupervised when required.
• Willingness to undertake training and learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced production area.
• Prepare ingredients for production.
• Assist with production and packing of food products.
• Carry out hygiene and general cleaning duties as required.
• Accurately complete production records.
• Perform manual handling tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE).
