Dairy Assistant
Dairy Assistant – Hampshire - Full-Time - Competitive Salary + Training Provided

The Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Dairy Assistant to join the team on a prestigious countryside estate in Hampshire, renowned for its dedication to sustainable, organic, and biodynamic farming practices. This role places you at the heart of a true farm-to-table operation, supporting the production of premium dairy products for a high-end hospitality business. As part of the dairy team, you will support the day-to-day operations, playing a key role in upholding exceptional standards of hygiene, quality, and efficiency throughout the production process.

Your responsibilities will include operating processing and packing equipment safely and in line with procedures, maintaining rigorous hygiene standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. You will monitor and adjust production processes for optimal performance, assist with equipment start-up, shutdown, and maintenance, and manage production records, batch documentation, and inventory. This hands-on role requires both independent work and teamwork, with an emphasis on problem-solving and contributing to ongoing improvements. Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols is also essential, making this a rewarding opportunity for someone committed to quality and sustainability in food production.

The Company:
Our client operates a certified organic, mixed arable and livestock farm that supplies seasonal produce, meat, dairy and flowers to a luxury hospitality business. The farm spans hundreds of acres and incorporates traditional methods alongside modern agricultural practices, upholding a closed-loop, environmentally responsible approach to food production.
With a purpose-built dairy and a herd of high-quality dairy cattle, the estate is proud to produce its own milk, cream, butter and yoghurt, all made on-site to exacting standards.

The Candidate:
- Experience in a food or beverage production environment (preferred, not essential)
- Strong eye for detail and a quality-first mindset
- Positive, proactive approach to problem-solving
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent preferred)
- Genuine interest in ethical, sustainable, and organic practices
