Job description

Our Dairy Division supplies and maintains milking equipment, bulk milk tanks and refrigeration equipment, electrical installations, and slurry handling equipment. We are an official agent for DeLaval equipment as well as the main UK agent for the AirWash Plus teat dip and rinse system. We also design and install milking parlours, livestock control systems, and slurry handling systems, using in-house CAD facilities for design planning.

Hours
40 hours a week subject to working hours regulations.

Key Duties Will Include
Apprenticeships typically last 4 years and include day or block release at college to gain theoretical knowledge, combined with on-the-job practical experience. Apprentices will study towards an NVQ in Refrigeration, developing skills in servicing, repairing, and installing bulk milk tanks, or an NVQ in Electrical Engineering, learning to install electrical equipment and milking systems, and conduct testing and inspections.
