Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Supply Teaching Assistant to support students across Harlow and wider Essex. You will work flexibly across primary, secondary and early years settings, providing 1:1 and small group support while helping teachers manage lessons and maintain classroom order.

The role offers weekly pay, flexible days to suit availability, and opportunities across Essex with supportive SLT teams and pathways into longer-term roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is ideal but not essential).
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.
